Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (hereinafter the "Terms") govern the use of the SnapSpot Paris platform (hereinafter the "Platform"), accessible at snapspotparis.com.

The Platform is published by Charles d'Anthouard de Vraincourt, sole trader (SIRET: 942 207 580 00013), with its registered office in Louveciennes (78430), France.

The Platform is a service connecting clients (hereinafter the "Clients") with independent photographers (hereinafter the "Photographers") for photo sessions in Paris and the Ile-de-France region.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

Registering and using the Platform implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the service.

SnapSpot Paris reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial change by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Registration

An account is strictly personal and may not be transferred or shared.

3.3 Photographer verification

Photographer profiles are subject to manual verification by the SnapSpot Paris team before activation. This verification covers the consistency of the profile and the quality of the portfolio. SnapSpot Paris reserves the right to refuse or suspend a photographer profile without having to justify its decision.

4. Service description

4.1 Intermediary role

SnapSpot Paris acts exclusively as an intermediary connecting users. The Platform is not a party to the photographic service contract concluded between the Client and the Photographer. The Photographer operates as an independent professional and is in no way an employee of SnapSpot Paris.

5. Bookings and payment

5.1 Booking process

  1. The Client chooses a photographer, a pack, a date, a time and one or more locations;
  2. The Client proceeds with online payment via Stripe;
  3. The booking moves to "pending" status and the Photographer is notified;
  4. The Photographer confirms or declines the booking within a reasonable time;
  5. If confirmed, both parties receive a confirmation email.

5.2 Prices and commission

Displayed prices include the SnapSpot Paris commission (service fee). The breakdown (photographer's price + service fee) is shown before payment. All prices are in euros (EUR), inclusive of tax.

5.3 Secure payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment provider. SnapSpot Paris never stores your bank details. By paying, you also accept Stripe's terms.

6. Cancellation and refund

Each photographer pack is associated with a cancellation policy (flexible, moderate or strict), clearly displayed before booking.

6.4 Cancellation by the photographer

If the Photographer cancels a confirmed booking, the Client is refunded 100%. Repeated cancellations by a Photographer may lead to suspension of their account.

Right of withdrawal: In accordance with article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure service provision to be supplied on a specific date. By booking a photo session on a specific date, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal.

8. Messaging and moderation

The Platform provides an internal messaging system between Clients and Photographers.

9. Intellectual property

9.1 Platform content

All elements of the Platform (interface, design, code, text, logos) are the property of SnapSpot Paris and are protected by intellectual property law.

9.2 User content

Photographs and content published by Photographers (portfolio, Snappies) remain their property. By publishing content on the Platform, the Photographer grants SnapSpot Paris a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and distribute that content as part of the operation of the service.

This licence ends when the content or account is deleted by the Photographer.

10. Liability

10.1 Liability of SnapSpot Paris

As an intermediary, SnapSpot Paris cannot be held liable for:

SnapSpot Paris nevertheless undertakes to implement all reasonable means to ensure the proper functioning and security of the Platform.

10.2 Force majeure

SnapSpot Paris cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code (natural disaster, widespread outage, cyberattack, etc.).

11. Suspension and termination

SnapSpot Paris reserves the right to suspend or delete a user's account in the event of:

12. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution. Failing this, the dispute shall be submitted:
